Dr. Klufas is a life long resident of Texas. He grew up in San Antonio and pursued his undergraduate degree at Texas A&M University in College Station Texas. Following graduation with a degree in Biomedical Science, Dr. Klufas continued his education at The Univerity of Houston College of Optometry receiving his degree as a Therapeutic Optometrist in 2001. He began his career in San Marcos Texas and moved to Schertz in 2005 to pursue his dream of opening a private practice in 2005. In 2005 Dr. Klufas acquired his certification as an Optometric Glaucoma Specialist. Dr. Klufas loves the interaction with his patients, getting to know them on both a personal and clinical level. He is a member of the American Optometric Association, Texas Optometric Association, and Bexar County Optometric Society. Dr. Klufas is an avid outdoorsman and loves to spend time with his family hunting and fishing the great state of Texas. Dr. Klufas is involved in 4H with his children and gives back to the youth involved in agriculture on an annual basis at the Guadalupe County Youth Show.
