What to Expect

When you visit our office, you will be warmly welcomed and we can answer any questions you may have about completing the paperwork so that Diamond K Eye Care may see you. Our team will work together to evaluate your eyes and provide relevant eye care treatment information, review your vision benefits and payment options, fit you for glasses or contact lenses, and focus on exceeding all of your expectations. If at any time you have questions about the process or your specific health information, please ask.

Payment Options

We understand that cost is a concern when evaluating your vision care providers. We do not want cost to be an obstacle to maintaining proper eye health and good vision.  We accept various forms of payment and are able to discuss financing, if needed, through CareCredit prior to your examination.  To learn more about our payment options, please call our office directly.

Our office accepts cash, check, and major debit and credit cards including MasterCard and Visa.

All of the above plans can be used for all your eye care and eyewear needs, including eyeglasses, contact lenses, routine office visits and medical office visits.

Care Credit

The Care Credit card is available to help people pay for health care expenses, often with an introductory period that is interest-free. We accept Care Credit for all of our services. To learn more or apply for the card, visit Care Credit here.

Flexible Spending Accounts/Health Savings Accounts

These plans are designed to let you save pre-tax dollars to an account that can be used for qualifying health care expenses.  These are also commonly referred to has cafeteria plans.  Most if not all of your eye care needs are considered covered expenses, this includes glasses, eye exams, contacts and even laser vision correction.  These plans can typically be used in conjunction with your vision plan or health insurance benefits.   Please check with your benefits administrator to determine what expenses would be covered.

Insurance

At Diamond K Eye Care our goal is provide a very thorough eye evaluation and provide the clearest vision possible.  A common myth that we hear often is that people assume that their major medical insurance does not cover eye care.  However some plans have routine coverage and with specific complaints most services will be considered by your major medical plan.  We accept several major medical health plan and some vision plans.  We also accept all credit cards, cash, checks, and Care Credit.

We will work directly with you to submit claims on your behalf regarding your vision care.  We strive to ensure that you understand your coverage and will answer any questions you may have regarding your benefits.  Many vision plans are designed to cover basic costs, but may not cover all costs associate with eye care.  Most plans require a co-payment as well as additional costs that are the patients’ responsibility.
